In the first TakeOver of 2019, NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa strengthened his grip on “Goldie,” defeating Aleister Black in a brutally hard-hitting clash, while Johnny Gargano dethroned NXT North American Champion Ricochet. Yet, following a night of high-octane action, nothing took away the NXT Universe’s breath quite like seeing Gargano join his former nemesis in celebration.
